An historic inn, The Ship´s Knees is located in the fabulous beachside community of East Orleans, MA. This former sea captain´s cape style home was built in 1820 and while it exemplifies the quiet Yankee tradition of old Cape Cod, it has been lovingly renovated to provide your visit with a modern concept of comfort. You will be located on a dos plus acre site that offers its guests the serenity of a residential location as well as an enviable access one quarter mile down the bottom of the hill to one of the east coast´s most outstanding beaches, Nauset Beach. Rooms are individually decorated in a distinctive nautical style with warm colonial color schemes, a combination of antiques, and a feel of relaxed, casual elegance. Several rooms feature authentic ship´s knees, ocean views, and working fireplaces. The well manicured grounds include an in ground pool, a tennis court, patios, and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
